Being in honors college, my jumpstart plan was a little different. I didn't have to wait for housing because it was already selected. However, I completed FAFSA and registration. This has helped me not stress as much and enjoy my summer internship nd prepare for next semester.
ORANGEBUR COUNCIL ON AGING. I had the opportunity to give back to the elderly in a positive way and learned a lot from the people I interacted with. I helped make awards by putting them in frames, cutting them and printing out certificates. Arranging events by stuffing backs. Helping out with food by putting it in the delivery cars. And helping with food at lunch time for the elderly.
As a computer engineering major, it is very important to me to know what types of research can be conducted for my major. In many of my internships they have asked for prior research so looking at others and the things that they have done can prepare me for what's to come in the future.
Being apart of the Claflin family has been such a great experience. It has allowed me to be more close with the students, teachers, clubs, and activities. This new program has created an effective way of communication for students. This app sends notifications for school events.
