Claflin Administration hosted a donation to "Give Back To Women" in exchange for 5 hours of community service. This was a very easy donation; any toiletries were accepted and expected to be dropped off at the Heath and Wellness Center Daily. 10 items were requested.
A member of Claflin University's Alumni hosted a "Women Win In Business" zoom meeting. The special guest went by the name of Mrs. Reaiah Brown Johnson. In the meeting, she talked about her former life at Claflin University, her life after, and her current place in life. It was honestly expiring to hear from another Black Women and how she made a successful life.
A member of Claflin University's Alumni, Ms. Megan Rivers, hosted a zoom meeting. she mainly focused on attributes dealing with Communications, considering that was her major. I had a personal interest in the things she touched on considering my major is Business Administration. This opened my eyes and expanded my decisions on changing my major.
Claflin Administration lets all students know if we signed up for Claflin Telehealth, then we will receive 4 hours of community service. Claflin Telehealth is a great way to get healthcare and pay nothing. The service provides students to talk to licensed providers through our own smartphones.
Claflin Administration sent an email out saying if we register to vote in the upcoming election, then we will receive 3 hours of community service. In the email, instructions were provided: go to claflin.turbovote.org, register to vote, then screenshot and upload here.
