Turbo Vote: Register to Vote (2hrs)

Signing up for Turbovote was very fast and easy. It's very informative on how to vote where to vote depending on my location. Voting is very important and through Turbo Vote, I like that I can be informed about different elections and given information about it.

Protect Your Community: Get Vaccinated! (EARN 4hrs)

I decided to get the COVID vaccine to help better protect those around me and myself. I was hesitant to get it, but the experience wasn't bad at all. I had some soreness in my arm, but that's about it.

Jumpstart Your Community Service: Support a Cause

It feels good being able to donate to a great cause. Sickle cell anemia is definitely not an easy thing to live with. I'm hoping that this donation along with others will help fund more resources to treat sickle cell anemia.

Signing up for Claflin Telehealth was an easy task. I feel that this is an amazing opportunity because I'll be able to get medical help quickly just after a few clicks. I also like that they not only provide medical support but, emotional support as well.

I attended the zoom session with Dr.Lakisha Lockhart on Mar.3. I loved the words that she spoke on different perspectives of religion, and I liked her concept on the stages of being at either a red, yellow, or green light in your life. It was a motivating session.

I attended the black history program with Ms.Harriet Huell Lampkin on Feb. 18. The things that she spoke about were very eye-opening as she talked about the biases that come along with being black in a workplace.
