I decided to be an orientation this year but was also given the great opportunity to become an orientation leader. I had a lot of fun helping with the new student's arrival and helping give them an excellent orientation week and being very informational!

As everybody should know, February is Black History Month. Black History Month is dedicated to all the African Americans in the world having a month to themselves. This scavenger hunt asked very important questions regarding very important people and what they did for us.
I joined PantherX. PantherX is an app designated for Claflin students to be caught up on events or news around campus
I completed my FAFSA for Student Federal Aid on October 4th. The FAFSA opened on October 1st and it's always best to do the FAFSA as early as possible.
I completed my Title IX course on September 3rd, 2021. Title IX course was a course about sexual misconduct and you watched scenarios and videos and answered questions that you got points for.
For Assembly 201, we did a Constitution Day Scavenger Hunt. We answered some important questions that relate to the Constitution.
I enrolled in TimelyCare, the new Telehealth. It's best to sign up for TimelyCare, just in case, you're ever in need of an emergency.
I got vaccinated back in April and was fully vaccinated by the beginning of June. I'm glad that I got vaccinated because there is a new delta variant with COVID and COVID is getting more serious and even if I got COVID, my symptoms wouldn't be as serious.
I did the Jumpstart Your Community Service: Support A Cause. I donated $20 to the American Heart Association.
I paid my housing deposit on February 15th. I signed the housing contract when it opened on April 1st. By the time, I tried to select a room, I couldn't because my password wasn't working and all the female dorms were full but I filled out the Housing WaitList.
