I completed 3 weeks of community service hours for the Retool your school vote before the COVID 19 Pandemic. The repetitive voting process was tedious but it was an easy way to get community service hours especially since it has been raining so often and my community service site (SPCA) was closed down.
I attended the sleep deprivation and stress conference. The head of the nursing program talked about getting enough hours of sleep and signs of stress. It was very interesting. I also was the only student that showed up.
I ushered at the Chapel on January 30, 2020 and Registered attendees in Ministers Hall for the Grandville Hicks Leadership Academy on January 31, 2020.
I gave away a pair of shoes and a blanket for the "Sneaker and Blanket Drive." The fact that I was giving things away to help someone made me feel like a better person.
I spoke to the Mellichamp Elementary school after schools students about self awareness as well as did a few activities on them .
Getting the packaged food was quite easy. My mom had helped to buy the food for the food drive so that I could turn them in for my hours. Plus, thanks to my efforts, I could quite possibly help to put an end to world hunger. It was an overall good experience to donate the food. The total hours that I got from donating were 15 hours.
