For this impact I managed to sign up for a Telehealth account. I think this a great idea for this because, while I'm in college, I can be able to get medical help for any needs necessary. I also think that Timely MD is a great resource to use because, they are able to get in touch with you to see what medical problems you may have or if may think that you are coming down with a sickness.
I Get excited doing fasfa. It is exciting to know that I have a way to pay for college. These sources help me make a step to my successes in life, takes away the worry about having to pay for college. I decided to complete the fasfa as fast as I could because it is known that you could get more money for financial aid if you complete the fasfa closest to the date it comes out.
Completing my FAFSA was honestly a big weight off my shoulders, because the old me would have waited until the last minute to complete it. Even though the process is a bit long, and confusing, it's worth it. I hope I'll be able to gain as much financial aid needed to help me succeed within my education.
I think that this is a great way to help someone that's going through any issues. Whether that's for their medical or mental health. Also, I like how they have wellbeing mentors that can treat or examine a wide scope of basic conditions , and subsequent to chatting with you can discover you the best treatment for that.
voter registration proof
Voting is important, hopefully my vote can make a difference. I hope everyone takes this seriously because we need a change in America. So, I'm hoping that everyone else is doing the same thing as me and casting their vote on November 3rd.
FAFSA proof
During this session I was really taught the importance of mental health. Claflin has an array of services and normally one like this could cost hundreds of dollars but for students its free which I think is phenomenal. Resources such as these are what motivate and provide a positive impact on our student body.
Went to fasfa fulled out my 2020-21 aid. It was pretty easy because I did it at the beginning of the year.
I enjoyed the "Let's Talk Month Event" that was held on October 4th. This seminar was based around our young African American boys, but there was insightful information as well for us females. There were guest who spoke to us concerning the issues of: STD's, Teen Pregnancies, and young men growing to be respectable and responsible young men.
I did not know we had to email Sadie Jarvis but it was the “Talk of the Month” I attended.
For the 2021-22 school year I had to renew my FAFSA. Instead of completely starting a new one I simply took the option to renew last years information. The only changes I had to present was the 2019 tax return as well as my own. Afterwards I added seven colleges including Claflin to receive my information.
Overall, I had a great experience listening to the "Beginning the Talk to Raise Responsible Men" seminar. I admired this young lady who talked about her story about having HIV/AIDS because, it is a lesson for young people to be responsible of the circumstances they take in order to be sexually active. I also think that it is beneficial for students to learn how they can get help on they can protect themselves or need guidance on how they can sexually active.
The " Beginning the Talk to Raise Responsible Men " was a very good session. Young men need to see examples of what it looks like to be the equivalent to our future status. This discuss reshaped my mindset with unbelievably hope for the future.
