About

The Greene County Family Justice Center is a community collaboration of public and private agencies supporting victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse by providing comprehensive client-centered, empowerment services in a single location.
Harmony House is a collaborating partner with the FJC, and we are seeking an intern to work at their location.
The Family Justice Center Intern will serve as an Intake Specialist, orienting new FJC clients to all services offered. The intern will help explain the confidentiality policy, perform a needs assessment and assist new clients with paperwork. They will be the first contact clients will have with the FJC, and will provide helpful and compassionate support.
This is a unique opportunity for a student to gain exposure to a diverse group of helping professionals such as mental-health counselors, social workers, attorneys and members of law enforcement.
